சென்னையில் எம்எல்ஏ., விடுதியில் உள்ள அறையிலும் சோதனை நடத்தினர். அங்கிருந்த வேலுமணியிடம் லஞ்ச ஒழிப்பு போலீசார் விசாரணை நடத்தினர்.
எஸ்.பி.வேலுமணி விவகாரத்தில், வேலுமணி, அவரது சகோதரர் அன்பரசன், சந்திரசேகர், முருகேசன், ஜேசு ராபர்ட் ராஜா, கு.ராஜன் உள்ளிட்ட 7 பேர் மற்றும் 10 நிறுவனங்கள் மீது லஞ்ச ஒழிப்பு போலீசார் வழக்குப்பதிவு செய்தனர். திமுகவின் ஆர்எஸ்பாரதி மற்றும் அறப்போர் இயக்கம் அளித்த புகாரின் அடிப்படையில் வழக்குப்பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டது.
