சில மாதங்களுக்கு முன்பு படப்பிடிப்புக்காக தஞ்சாவூர் சென்றிருந்த போது அரசு ராசா மிராசுதார் மருத்துவமனையை ஜோதிகா பார்வையிட்டார். அங்கு பிரசவத்துக்காகச் சேர்க்கப்படும் தாய் சேய் பத்திரமாகக் கவனிக்கப்பட அவர்களுக்கு கூடுதல் உதவிகள் தேவை என்பதை ஜோதிகா கேட்டறிந்தார். இதையடுத்தே தன் பங்களிப்பாக 25 லட்ச ரூபாய் நிதி உதவியை அரசு ராசா மிராசுதார் மருத்துவமனைக்கு வழங்கி இருக்கிறார்.
ஜோதிகா சார்பில் மருத்துவ உபகரணங்களை திரைப்பட இயக்குநர் இரா.சரவணன் வழங்க சுகாதாரத் துறை அமைச்சர் மாண்புமிகு விஜயபாஸ்கர் பெற்றுக் கொண்டார். “ஜோதிகா அவர்கள் செய்திருக்கும் உதவி மகத்தானது. பாராட்டத்தக்கது. அரசின் சார்பில் நன்றி” என்றார் அமைச்சர் விஜயபாஸ்கர்.
தஞ்சாவூர் மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் கோவிந்த்ராவ், “ஜோதிகா அவர்களின் சமூக அக்கறைக்குத் தலை வணங்குகிறேன்” என்றார். “தாய்மார்கள், குழந்தைகள் நலனுக்காக 25 லட்ச ரூபாய் வழங்கிய ஜோதிகாவின் பெருமனதுக்கு நன்றி. அரசின் திட்டங்களுடன் மக்களின் பங்களிப்பும் கைகோக்கும்போது அது எவ்வளவு சிறப்பாக அமையும் என்பதற்கு ஜோதிகா அவர்களின் உதவி சரியான முன் உதாரணம்.” என்றார் தஞ்சை மருத்துவக் கல்லூரி மருத்துவமனையின் முதல்வர் மருது துரை.
இந்த நிகழ்வில் தமிழக வேளாண் அமைச்சர் மாண்புமிகு திரு.துரைக்கண்ணு, ராஜ்யசபா உறுப்பினர் திரு.வைத்திலிங்கம் ஆகியோர் கலந்து கொண்டனர். சொல்லோடு நின்று விடாமல் களத்தில் செயலில் இறங்கிய ஜோதிகாவின் செயலை பலரும் பாராட்டி வருகின்றனர்.
